SUMMARY OF ROLE
This position reports to the Sales Manager and interfaces with support and digital marketing team. Our company is committed to digitalized our sales process and to advocate for high productivity equipment for research instituition. The sales development representative will develop new prospects for the company thru many new channels.
The company specialize in scientific equipment for niche market. The company is distributing products around the philosophy of consistent process control in Industrial 4.0 revolution. We serve the process industry, like biologics manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, beer manufacturing, cosmetic/ consumer care manufacturing and fermentation manufacturing. We also work closely with university, polytechnic and research institution.
1. Sales Development Representative’s Role Description
Trainee to be involved in:
1. Understanding our business solutions and able to articulate the benefits of our business solution
2. Matching our business solution to new prospects.
3. Active participation in strategic planning process, including developing goals and processes using SWOT analysis
4. Efficient way to engage prospect and our company professionally
5. Good practice in Customer Relationship Management
Duration of Traineeship: 12 months
Requirement
· Diploma in Science, Engineering or related (Fresh Graduate are welcome)
· Singaporean and PR preferred
· Confident in making connection, fluent in English, good presentation skills
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an outgoing & outspoken personality
· Highly motivated, independent, aggressive and self-driven
· Knowledge about sales process, willing to learn about our scientific products
· Results-oriented with a positive mindset and good working attitude
· Committed to work for at least 6 months to 2 years, training on products will be provided
What You'll Do
· Create a great first impression for prospects and customers by providing them with a niche technology towards Industrial Revolution 4.0
· Qualify leads ranging from inbound calls, chats, website downloads, content syndication from third party websites, and webinars
· Use our company standard operating procedure (digital platform) to organize lead data and qualification notes
· Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest our solution
